Completed PhD in the year 2024 and  PG in Medical Surgical Nursing from Fr Mullers College of Nursing,Mangalore  in 2001. She has also completed Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management & Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education.

Clinically skilled & competent Nursing Professional possessing Master’s Degree in Medical Surgical Nursing with over 24 years of experience in teaching, training & evaluating student’s knowledge & skills. Having been trained and certified  in Simulation based Education from INC under National Reference Centre SGT university she is a certified BCLS and ENLS instructor. 

She is a life member of various professional bodies such as TNAI, Nursing Scholars Society and Society for Nursing Practices. She has served as Member –Board of Studies for Undergraduates at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Karnataka. She  has worked in various positions like paper setter, scrutinizer paper evaluator, practical examiner  for RGUHS,NIMHANS ,Dayanand Sagar University Bangalore & Saveeta University ,Chennai ,Tamilnadu. She is  LIC team Member for RGUHS for granting affiliations to colleges under RGUHS. She Currently holds the position of HOD – Medical Surgical Nursing ,In charge -Training & Skill Development Department and PG Course Coordinator at R V College of Nursing.
