Mrs. Meera Chandran is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department (HOD) of Mental Health Nursing at R V College of Nursing in Bengaluru, Karnataka, bringing 19 years of dedicated experience in nursing education. She has mentored MSc Nursing students and served as an examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate practical examinations conducted under KNRUHS, NTRUHS, and RGUHS. Her academic contributions extend to roles such as serving on the Flying Squad, acting as Room Superintendent for paper evaluation, and contributing as a University Paper Setter for Mental Health Nursing and Foundations of Nursing under RGUHS. Her academic interests focus on grooming students to attain the highest professional standards in nursing education, with an emphasis on collaborating in the development of professional standards, engaging in research activities, and supporting professional growth.
